Marathon!
An hour of spectacle, beauty, grit, technique, endurance.
An endless match divided into 5 segments with different rules that test the girls’ abilities in every aspect of wrestling.
The first 10 minutes of the marathon match between Luna and Chiara allow chokeholds: Chiara’s aggression is countered by Luna’s incredible agility, which seems to allow her to slip out of any hold.
Great balance
After a two-minute break to catch their breath (all on camera), the second part begins where the girls can only use scissors to score points. Again, great balance, an open fight without tactics, many holds.
The grapevine pin is the star of the next 10 minutes: pinning the opponent to the ground and submitting her with such a dominant hold is undoubtedly a very arduous task when the wrestlers are so evenly matched. But there is no shortage of attempts, and surprise is around the corner.
Until the energy runs out
Literally soaked in sweat, Luna and Chiara get ready to fight under the schoolgirl pin rule: it’s even harder than the grapevine pin and is a very muscular and physical confrontation.
The last segment, with the girls exhausted from fatigue, includes smothers and hairpulling, what we normally call a “smothering catfight.”
This is an extremely balanced match that pushes the wrestlers to their physical limits, where you can appreciate all their technical skills, endurance, and willpower.
I love these kinds of matchs. Luna is a great wrestler
I feel like these two have started a little bit of a rivalry. They both were able to hold their own in this match. Impressive performance by both.
