A truly special match
The debut of Marzia, IFW’s rising star, against Venere, one of the “Old Guard” who’s just back after a long hiatus.
The rules include not only the classic pin and submission but also chokes — adding an extra layer of excitement.
Venere holds the advantage in both weight (by far) and muscle power. Marzia, on the other hand, is agile, explosive, and — as always — burning with determination.
Technically, they’re evenly matched.

Power vs speed
The veteran enjoys lifting her opponent off the ground (even sending her flying!) to take her down into a dominant position, usually trying to trap her in a rear naked choke or a side headlock.
Marzia does everything she can to stop those plans — twisting, kicking, and fighting back with all she’s got.
Of course, Marzia won’t settle for just surviving Venere’s attacks: here come her body and leg scissors (and Marzia’s gym work really shows), a few pin attempts, and a non-stop physical effort from the first to the last second.

Raw intensity
The match is incredibly even and demands an extraordinary amount of physical effort from both, right to the point of exhaustion.
One recommendation: turn up the volume — the fighters’ gasps, groans, and cries of effort perfectly complete this high-intensity spectacle.
After a thrilling finale, both end up completely drained — and the post-match interviews are truly revealing.
