IFW72 – Andrea vs Ambra Chokes

They undress, warm up, and get ready for the wrestling! This is a fully competitive match and submissions must be obtained through chokes and smothers only, scissors can be used to keep the opponent still, but not to squeeze a submission out of her. It’s interesting how the rules will drive the girls’ strategy: they will need to catch, immobilize, overpower the opponent and once she is trapped helpless, then apply a choke or smother to finish her off, leaving no other option then surrender.
Therefore, headlocks are often used to take down and then chokes or smothers are applied. Facesitting and breast smothers are allowed too, leaving the wrestlers a wider choice on how to show their supremacy. Both wrestlers are quick, agile and show great stamina, in a kind of match which requires uninterrupted physical effort and this makes it an extremely hard fought and challenging match.
Submissions are obtained through air deprivation and making the opponent unable to move through truly spectacular smothers and chokes in a crescendo leading to an unpredictable final part of the match, where someone cannot hold herself from pulling the opponent hair causing her reaction… and an incredible last submission!
Why is this match so deeply felt by the wrestlers and generates such a high tension? The reason is subtle: it’s a combination of physical and psychological submission (which is not due to pain here, but because the wrestler is rendered helpless, unable to move… even unable to breath), which implies a deeper and total surrender for the loser, admitting that she is completely at the winner’s mercy, to the point that she can even deny the air to breath!
