When Venere pushes her forearm into Bianca’s throat with all her weight on it, you know it’s no joke. Guess what? Bianca will try to twist Venere’s finger minutes later…
Don’t expect many submissions from this match, but a truly spectacular war on the mats, with lots of bitterness! They even managed to argue during the post-match interview.

Is it just me or does it appear that IFW is transitioning into more MMA oriented fighting style which appears to be part of the competitive META (most effective tactics available)? The fight here seems to be alot more controlled with the wrestlers choosing to hold positions (such as halfguard, side control etc) instead of wrestling in a wild manner where the results don’t yield as consistent. Yes, you are right. Most of the girls are taking classes and training heavily (BJJ, boxing…), and it shows in the most technical kind of matches. But there are still wild catfights, belly punching and face slaps challenges… to each his own 🙂

After IFW223 you can’t say they are friends anymore. They show respect but are very cold to each other.
What happened there was their choice, that fight was according to your own rulles, they had a chance to end that as you know well and they had a level of freedom no one in IFW has ever got. Some of the different fighting styles can be mixed in a tournament for sure, and if you think about it a catfight with chokeholds already includes most of them. Boxing and the various tests of strength are somehow separate from the wrestling action itself.
